I told my roommate to draw a portrait of myself, so this is the result.

My roommate used Microsoft Paint to create the portrait a few weeks ago. On that particular day, I was wearing the red striped shirt, royal blue sweatpants, and black runners that you see in this rendering.

The monkey next to me is yelling "GET IN THE VAN!" The monkey and its one-liner are both allusions to Comedian Dane Cook. Listen to the "Monkey/Heist" routine by Dane Cook (one of my favorite DC acts) and you will understand the whole monkey thing.

In the drawing, I am holding a short sword and a cleaver, since I often spar using improvised sword-like weapons. The character Barry the Chopper from the Fullmetal Alchemist manga sparked my fascination with implementing a cleaver for melee combat.

From the blood on my blades, looks like I just returned from a killing spree...

As my penciling skills improve, I will draw a self-portrait...
